Please join us this week (11/17) as we meet at Maser Monarch Lodge!
This week, we will welcome Natalie Schwartz from the Good Neighbor Pesticide Program. Good Neighbor Iowa aims to reduce unnecessary urban pesticide use and to transform lawn culture to encourage appreciation of diverse lawns as a way to protect child health, water quality, pets, pollinators, and biodiversity. This statewide public health education initiative is managed through partnership with the University of Northern Iowa’s Center for Energy and Environmental Education.
For those planning to attend, we are continuing a pay-as-you-go lunch option. This week, we will be having box lunches from Jimmy Johns for $10. It will not include a drink though, so please bring your own drink with you to the meeting. To order a lunch, please let Kathy know if you would like a ham, roast beef, turkey, Italian or BLT sandwich by 10 am Wednesday morning or by emailing  You are also welcome to bring your own lunch if you'd like instead.
We look forward to seeing all of you this week at the Maser Monarch Lodge!
