A few volunteer opportunities available for Rotarians (and anyone) right now:
(1) Megan Vigdal with Iowa Lakeside Lab and the State Hygienic Laboratory has shared volunteer opportunities this summer with the Cooperative Lakes Area Monitoring Project (CLAMP).  Now in its 25th year, CLAMP volunteers have been collecting valuable data on the Iowa Great Lakes that help preserve and protect these amazing resources. If you are interested in volunteering - there are a variety of ways available - please see the flier shown here and contact Megan.
(2) The second opportunity is to help serve our local Dickinson County Drug Court. Every first and third Tuesday, drug court meets from 4:30 to 7:30 with their clients. They have a meal and go over individual plans. They are looking for individuals  (or groups of people) to provide a meal. There are usually about 20 in the group. Contact club member Julie Battern if you are interested in helping out - her number is (319) 215-8135.
