In preparation for the new playground equipment coming next month, Iowa Great Lakes Rotary has scheduled a clean up of Shelby's Playground at Elinor Bedell State Park for this Wednesday afternoon (August 21). There is a lot of raking, weed pulling and general cleanup that needs to be done as the rain has really brought out the weeds this year.
I will be at the park anytime after 2 pm - so feel free to join for 30 minutes or an hour anytime between 2-6 pm.
Iowa Great Lakes Rotarians built this park in 2001 - I am excited that we will be able to enhance it with more great items yet this fall. Please plan to stop out and help on Wednesday, even if for only a short time! Hope to see you there!
