Thank you to the Rotarians, along with family and friends, who showed up Thursday evening, October 6, to pack goodie bags for local farmers. The project, spearheaded by the Dickinson County Behavioral Health Coalition, was a way to not only provide farmers with a snack during harvest, but also to provide valuable resource information as well as it relates to the stresses of farming and the mental health toll it can take on the farmers. This initiative is the first in a series of outreach projects planned by the Coalition to reach various groups in the county through a Let's Talk Dickinson campaign. The campaign will help promote awareness of resources available in our county and hopefully help reduce the stigma of asking for help if someone needs it.
