Rob Waterhouse was inducted into the Iowa Great Lakes chapter of Rotary on October 3rd.  His sponsor was Dan Carson. 

Rob was born and raised in the Cedar Rapids area (Marion).  He graduated from Regis High School and attended the University of Iowa where he graduated in '91 with a degree in Economics. 

His career began with the American Red Cross in Cedar Rapids with several transfers during the next 27 years:  Sioux City, Madison, WI, Birmingham, AL, and Omaha, NE.  Next were a couple of non-profit health charities that specialized in diabetes and crones disease.  Rob then ran some non-profits in Blair, NE for the next 5 years which then led to the Okoboji Foundation. Rob began as the Executive Director with the Okoboji Foundation last April 2018. 

Rob and his wife, Kathleen, have 4 children, MJ is his oldest daughter and just began her freshman year at Wayne State, Ellie is a junior at Spirit Lake High School, Mattie is a 8th grader at Spirit Lake Middle School, and Robert is a 6th grader at Spirit Lake Elementary School.

Rob's interests include all of his children's activities, golf, lake activities, and leading Boy Scouts.
