STACY NEWGAARD: SPEAKER AT IGL ROTARY MEETING LAST WEDNESDAY
Stacy Newgaard, owner of APEX Shooting Range in Fostoria was the featured speaker at the Iowa Great Lakes Rotary meeting last Wednesday, October 12. Stacy shared his story of how the business was started in 2010 but due to regulations and licensing, the actual range didn't open until 2014. In addition to the shooting range, the business manufactures custom ammunition for contracts that include the states of Nevada and Tennessee and many police departments around the United States. Most of the ammunition they make is for long-range performance. Other services they offer include duracoat and color coating firearms, group and one-on-one lessons, concealed weapon classes, ladies night learning events, hunter safety courses, competition leagues, family nights, kids classes and self-defense courses.
