Norm Johnson presented the new YMCA logo and news about the Kinship program with the Iowa Great Lakes Rotary at their noon meeting on July 28.
 
Norm shared that for the first time in 43 years, the YMCA has introduced a new brand strategy. The YMCA of the Okoboji's is excited to launch the new look along with better education about their work and the impact of the Y in the Lakes area.

Norm also provided an overview of YMCA Kinship, a program that improves lives by establishing quality relationships between individuals and caring volunteers for the purpose of promoting stability, support, friendship and community. He also shared statistics of kids who have been involved in the Kinship program and the positive effect it has had on their lives.
