Melanie Becker was inducted to the Iowa Great Lakes chapter of Rotary on 10/9/19.
Melanie was raised in Fairmont, MN, but graduated high school from Lincoln Central in Gruver. Shortly after high school she attended Iowa Lakes Community College and had her first child. She immediately started working for Polaris and has continued to work there for the past 25 years. She is currently in the payroll department.
Melanie is married to Brad Becker and they have four children. One is attending the University of Minnesota, one lives at home with them, one lives in Estherville, and another lives in Ames. She enjoys watching Iowa State University Football and Basketball, golfing, crafting, and re-purposing furniture. She also sells Mary Kay products on the side. She is a major fundraising organizer for the Hope Fund through Polaris.
