Join us for a special event open to all families in Dickinson County who want to explore how we can reclaim childhood in a tech-driven world. Guest speaker Katherine Johnson Martinko, writer, editor, and author of Childhood Unplugged (2023) and creator of The Analog Family newsletter—will share practical insights on digital minimalism and finding balance for kids and families. Sponsored by the Dickinson County Behavioral Health Coalition and Iowa Great Lakes Rotary. In addition, a meal will be provided by Burger & Company at 5:30 pm before the event and childcare will be provided for children for attendees. Organizers are requesting RSVPs by November 7 to get a count to ensure enough food and childcare is available. Confidential questions can also be submitted via the RSVP for the speaker to answer at the event.
