2019 Service Calendar
Tuesday, April 16th – Community Clean Up – 6-7pm
Meet at the Arnold's Park parking lot at 6 p.m. We will be working with Young Professionals and Kiwanis. We will be assigned to different beaches and spaces in the vicinity of Arnolds Park. Clean up locations will be determined based on the number of people in attendance. Gloves and garbage bags will be provided. This is a great opportunity for our club members to work with the community.

Wednesday, May 1st – Park Clean Up and Sign Mounting – Shelby’s Park – 4-7pm
We will be making the park look nice and placing our new Rotary signage. We will need a handful of members present to pick up garbage, rake, dig a post hole, and mount the sign. Please bring gloves to protect your hands and if you have them, rakes, shovels, and clothes that are able to get dirty. We will have sign-up sheets at later meetings.

Wednesday, May 8th– Park Clean Up and Touch Up – Pike’s Point State Park – 4-7pm
We will be making the park look nice, finishing up painting tables, and placing our new Rotary signage. We will need a handful of members present to paint, pick up garbage, rake, dig a post hole, and mount the sign. Please bring gloves, rakes, shovels if you have them, and clothes that are able to get dirty. We will have sign-up sheets at later meetings.

August – Bags Tournament – A Rotary or Kiwanis Park – 1-5pm
We will be having a friendly bags tournament with the Spirit Lake Kiwanis Club. Details are still being worked out, but we are tentatively thinking that the winner gets to dictate where the loser has to donate X amount of money too. We would also have a fundraiser on the day of.
