Students Share Leadership Projects with Rotary
Four students from the Spirit Lake High School January LIVE Leadership Class spoke briefly to Rotary to request Rotary’s help in securing item donations for two separate projects they are undertaking this month in class. Trevor Jensen and Drew Fowler have both selected Mission Haiti to collection donations for. They are looking for canned goods, school supplies and toiletry items to send to Haiti. Items can be dropped off at the Spirit Lake Schools, Northwest Bank, Central Bank, Bank Midwest or by calling Trevor at (712) 330-5864 for pickup. Bryson McCabe and Sam Harms are collecting gently worn or new shoes for Shoes for Africa. Shoes can be dropped off at Spirit Lake schools, the Presbyterian Church in Spirit Lake or St. Joseph’s Church in Milford, or by calling Sam at (712) 330-7629 for pickup. All four students request your donations by January 23rd.
