Shelby Duis Park Cleanup Held May 27

Iowa Great Lakes Rotary held their annual spring cleanup of Shelby Duis park on Thursday, May 27.
Rotarians trimmed shurbs, pulled weeds, raked grass and sand and did general clean-up. It was much needed and now looks really nice. Thank you to Peter van der Linden, Mary Mulder, Jason Carlstrom, Dave Rowley, Tom Fuhrman, Anthony Galbraith, Marv Logan, Brad Simington, Deb Lenz and Kathy Fahy. Thanks also to Jason and Dave also for supplying refreshments for the crew.
Shelby Duis park is located in Elinor Bedell State Park. The playground equipment was donated and constructed by Iowa Great Lakes Rotary some years ago so it is with pride that our club helps to keep the area clean each year.
