Congratulations to the 2024 Rotary Car Drop Winner! Rebecca Peters had the winning time of 9:30 and will receive $1000 as the contest winner. After only 16 days on the ice (!!) the Rotary car fell through on February 8, 2024, in the earliest drop in history. The Arnolds Park/Okoboji Fire and Rescue pulled the car out on February 11th, but they needed to cut through several inches of ice to bring the car to shore. What a crazy winter!!The proceeds of the annual Rotary Car Drop are used to support various projects in the Iowa Great Lakes Community. Thank you to everyone that purchased or sold tickets. Stay tuned for information on how the funds will be used in 2024.
