Ann Williamsen, Speech Coordonator at Okoboji High School, accompanied six of her high school students to entertain the Iowa Great Lakes Rotary Club on Wednesday, October 6.

The students are all involved in Improvisational speaking as part of the Okoboji High School program. They attend various contests from November to February each year, which include picking scenerios from a hat and then creating and performing a 3-5 minute skit within 2 minutes of the situation selected. Two groups of students demonstrated this by performing skits related to the two situations drawn at the meeting: Situation #1 group drew "Ken and Barbie Get Married" and Situation #2 group drew "Pretending you speak a foreign language when you don't". The Iowa Great Lakes Rotary wishes all the Okoboji High School students a very successful contest season!
