On May 4th Spirit Lake middle school teacher Mrs. Peg Rick along with a group of  sixth graders attended the Iowa Great Lakes Rotary meeting and gave a presentation of their recent field trip to the Science Center in St. Paul, Minnesota.  121 students as well as 13 chaperones were able to travel by chartered bus to learn more about a topic they've been studying which was Ancient World History, Egypt and King Tut.   At the Science Center they were also able to explore other educational interests and broaden their minds with hands on exploration!  When the students returned they were required to work in groups and design a power point presentation of their trip.  The Iowa Great Lakes Rotary Club donated $500 to help with their travel expenses.
