District Governor Roger Kueter visited a special evening meeting of the Iowa Great Lakes Rotary club on August 18. Roger spoke to the group about the 2010-2011 Rotary theme - Building Communities, Bridging Continents. He congratulated Haley Smith on her upcoming youth exchange to Italy and also spoke about the importance of being an involved Rotarian. Roger also gave away two tickets to an upcoming performance at the Gallagher Bluedorn Performing Arts Theatre at Uni - Andrew Fisher's fiance was the winner!
 
Roger Kueter is a forty year plus Rotarian, past president of the Rotary Club of Cedar Falls and District's Chair of the Ambassadorial Scholarship Committee. Since 2008 he has served as Chair of the District's Gates' Polio Match efforts. By profession, Roger is professor and director of community college projects at UNI. He is a member of the Cedar Falls Utilities Board of Trustees, a member of American Martyrs Retreat House Board and a long-time Knight of Columbus.
